Welcome to our site... Whether you are visiting this site for the first time or are an old friend, I hope that within these pages, you will find strength and encouragement on your spiritual journey and that something within these pages will interest you.

If you are searching for Jesus or for answers, then your questioning is the key. Jesus said, 'If you seek me you will find me'

Often people who search for Jesus don't find answers - just deeper questions, deeper meanings. My prayer is that you may find something of Jesus within these pages.

If you would like to join our mailing list, go to our contact us page and whenever we change anything on the site, you will automatically be notified.

Safeguarding

A quote from the Durham Diocesan Website...

The Diocese of Durham takes the safeguarding of children, young people and adults very seriously.

Safeguarding means the action the Church takes to promote a safer culture. This means we will promote the welfare of children, young people and adults We work to prevent abuse from occurring, seek to protect those that are at risk of being abused and respond well to those that have been abused. We will take care to identify where a person may present a risk to others, and offer support to them whilst taking steps to mitigate such risks.

At St. Catherine's, our Safeguarding policy reflects this attitude. Our Safeguarding Officer is Mr Stuart Smith who can be contacted on:-

stuart.smith@stcatherineschurchcrook.com

The Diocesan's Safeguarding Advisor is Beth Miller and her contact details are:-

beth@bethmillerisw.co.uk  OR  beth.miller@durham.anglican.org

More information regarding safeguarding may be found on:-
